You are sincerely requested to read the below. It is not just the usual yada yada.

By downloading and/or using the CQM AP Tools Excel macro file you agree to the following:

TruCert strongly recommends to apply the following best practices:

Excel and other office macros can be useful tools, but macros (like any other software) are also used by hackers to install malware on computers. Therefor always verify that the macro file you intend to open is exactly the macro file you want to open, and has not been manipulated. Hence please follow these rules:

  • Firstly, ensure you know where you got the CQM AP Tools file from. If you did not download it from the trucert.com website, or did not receive it from a TruCert employee directly, do not open the file and discard it. Also if in doubt, discard the copies you have and download a fresh copy.
  • Verify that the MD5 hash of the file you downloaded matches the one shown on the trucert.com website's download page and the file included in the 7z archive you downloaded from the trucert.com website. If you do not know how to do that, contact your IT support, or follow this guide.

Please note, that if you make use of the "Save Configuration & Quit" function of the CQM AP Tools, the MD5 hash will change.

Backup the CQM Assessment Plan, and any other file you intend to use with the CQM AP Tools before you open the CQM AP Tools file.

Backup any file you previously created using the CQM AP Tools before you open the CQM AP Tools file.

Ideally, create a dedicated directory for the work you intend to do using the CQM AP Tools, copy, and not move, the CQMAPTools.xlsm file, and any other file you might need (like the CQMGIAP and the CQMAP you want to import from) into this dedicated directory, then conduct your work within that dedicated directory.

Once complete, copy the resulting files back to where you need them.

If you agree to the information provided on this page, you may proceed to the download page for the CQM AP Tools. Please do so by clicking on the link below:
